Josephine Kunkle, Ph.D. provides mental health services with individuals, couples, and families at Spectrum Recovery Center in Estero. Josie is a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. She earned her Ph.D. in psychology from Walden University and holds 2 Masters degrees in both Licensed Mental Health Care and Criminal Justice from Hodges University in Fort Myers. She began working with clients in the mental health field in 2013 and quickly realized counseling and helping others to overcome anxiety and trauma was going to become her life’s work.
Josie uses solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness skills therapies in an empathetic environment to help clients who are struggling with challenges life issues. She employs and customizes a variety of mental health therapeutic techniques to help clients discover what they want from therapy and how to accomplish it.
